Branton is a licensed psychologist with Collaborative Family Law Affiliates. Dr. Branton specializes in the treatment of adolescents, college students and adults. She has maintained a full-time independent practice since 1986 working primarily in the areas of depression, motivation and achievement problems, school refusal, attention deficit and hyperactivity, Tourette’s Syndrome, anxiety and panic disorder. Dr. Branton also serves as the consulting Executive Director of The Achievement Center, a clinic and psychological center, for Valley Forge Military Academy and College focusing on emotional and behavioral issues of young adolescents to college students. She provides clinical supervision and training to counselors, psychologists, substance abuse specialists and social work interns, as well as faculty and staff training. Previous affiliations include: Senior Psychologist at Strafford Psychological Services, adjunct teaching in the graduate departments of Villanova University and the University of Pennsylvania in the areas of Adolescent Development, Family Therapy and Career Development, and at the University of Pennsylvania: Consultant–Special Programs, College of General Studies; Career Evaluation Program; Assistant Dean, Continuing Education; Assistant Dean, College of Arts and Sciences, Teaching Fellow in the Graduate School of Education and Assistant Director of Career Placement Services. Dr. Branton has given presentations on depression, anxiety, the impact of children’s learning disabilities on the family, attention deficit and hyperactivity, adolescent suicide, anger management, career change, stress management, peer counseling training, communication skills, diagnostic skills, and managing at-risk adolescents. Dr. Branton is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, Counseling Psychology.
